Abstract

This paper deals with the design and presuppositions of a research project yet to be conducted. The notion of "linguistically relevant data" is interpreted as the language resource which is represented by other humans. In a MOO environment (virtually mediated), students' language learning strategies are observed and described, especially the use they make of the communication with co-students and native speakers (authentic environment).
